Free Penguin Cross Stitch Pattern

Today I finally had the time to finish the pdf for the penguin cross stitch pattern. I’m glad to be back here and share another cross stitch pattern. In this project I have used Anchor Floss using 2 strands only. I stitched them in a 10 count aida cloth with a 40w x 50h stitch counts. That’s 4 x 5 in inches and it’s small enough to put in a greetings card. I used a special paper that’s thick enough to make as greetings card. I really liked the paper that I used because of it’s added scent. This is actually my first attempt to make a greetings card with cross stitch and I’m so glad about it. I hope you like it too.

On my next post I’ll be sharing the revised pattern for my pink owl cross stitch pattern.  I should probably make some more heart patterns with a lot of pink and red colors just in time for Valentines.

As of now I am also working on a love birds cross stitch pattern. I already finished the pattern just have to stitch them. Can’t wait to share them with you.

A Sneak Peak of my Owl and Penguin Cross Stitch

As part of my new year’s resolution i have decided to make my own cross stitch projects based on my own pattern. It’s better to stitch them first before giving out the pattern to you. I can test the floss and some mistakes on the pattern. I know this owl cross stitch looks familiar to you. Yes, it is the pattern that I posted a week ago. I have made some changes on the pattern and the floss that I used was Anchor thread instead of DMC. I admit I don’t have a big stash at all. I only buy cross stitch kits before and have a little threads and cloth. When I decided to make my own cross stitch projects the only available floss in the nearest mall was Anchor floss. That time my son was ill and I still have to buy him medicine. I can’t go to another store to buy DMC threads. I’m so glad that he’s doing fine now. I just needed to stitch the owl and penguin so bad so I bought them anyway. I stitched them in a 10-count aida cloth and 2 strands of floss. I love how it turned out. The penguin with the back stitch looks cuter. I thinking of putting some back stitches on the owl also. Just can’t decide yet.

I hope you like my new cross stitch animal friends. I can’t wait to share the pattern with you. Please leave a comment below for any suggestions on my cross stitch projects.

Prince Hans Free Cross Stitch Pattern

I have received a request from Denise Hood on facebook to make a cross stitch pattern of Prince Hans and as promised, here it is. This cross stitch pattern is based on David Kawena‘s artwork. Feel free to visit his facebook page to see all of his amazing artworks.

I have restricted the download to registered users only. If you’re not registered yet you can register here. I also managed to change the look of my site’s mobile version. Click here to see the improved mobile version of my blog. I hope you like it and about my next pattern, I haven’t figured it out yet. Maybe an owl would be cute. If you have any suggestions please leave a comment below.

My Sheep Amigurumi WIP for 2015

As promised here’s a picture of my current wip. It’s a sheep amigurumi that I’m working on. I learned a new stitch, the loop stitch and at first I find it hard to work in rounds with the stitch but I managed to figure it out somehow. lol. The ears and the limbs aren’t finished yet . I still have to figure out if I will go with the crochet thread eyes or safety eyes. I think I need your suggestions on this one. Please tell me in the comments section below. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Free Sheep Cross Stitch Pattern

Happy New Year Everyone. I haven’t posted a cross stitch pattern for awhile the last time was on October. For my new year’s resolution, I’m gonna make some changes on my blog. I’ll be posting more cross stitch patterns this year. I’m also trying to make a membership area on my blog so you can easily download all the cross stitch pdf patterns easily. Don’t worry it’s a free membership area. I won’t charge you anything I just wanted to restrict the download for members only. I’m not always here because I’m a full time Mom and I also have a freelance work and there are times when I can’t send the patterns to those who requested it. It’s better if you can download it in the members area by yourself. For now the pdf for the sheep cross stitch pattern is available for download. I posted a link below and everyone can download it.

For 2015 I’m also trying to add another craft on my blog. I wont tell you what it is yet. I still have to buy some materials for my new craft. I’m also working on a sheep amigurumi too. Tommorrow I’ll share pictures of my sheep amigurumi.

I hope you find my sheep cute to stitch. Happy Stitching everyone and  may you have a great year ahead.
