Materials Needed:
Worsted Weight Yarn – I used red heart with love in red, green, white and black
5.5 mm. crochet hook
pair of scissors
yarn needle
Abbreviations:
Ch – Chain
st – stitch
SC – single crochet
DC – double crochet
TR – triple crochet
sl st – slip stitch on top of the 1st SC/DC of the round
SC inc – single crochet increase (make 2 SC in same stitch)
DC inc – double crochet increase (make 2 DC in same stitch)
sts – stitches
Free Crochet Pattern:
With red yarn make a magic ring, Ch 2
Round 1: Make 10 DC in ring, sl st (10 sts)
Round 2: Ch 2, DC inc in same stitch, DC inc in all sts around, sl st (20 sts)
Round 3: Ch 2, DC inc in same, Dc in next, (DC inc, DC in next)* repeat around, sl st with white yarn to change color (30 sts)
Round 4: Ch1, SC inc in same, SC in next 2 sts, (SC inc, SC in next 2 sts)* repeat around, sl st with green yarn to change color (40 sts)
Round 5: Ch 1, SC in same, SC in all sts around, loosen your tension in this round (40 sts)
Fasten Off. Weave Ends.
Use black yarn to sew the seeds
