Crochet Baby Hat With Earflaps for Beginners

 crochet hat for toddlers
I made a crochet baby hat with earflaps for my baby. I was very happy with the finished project. It looks so cute on him. Can’t wait to make another one.
He refused to wear them at first, I had to grab his hands while carrying him. We were running around while I make funny noises. It really worked out. He was smiling and we were laughing out loud too. Thanks to my hubby’s support, we were able to take a picture of him.

He won’t look at the camera. Maybe he’s just too shy…
Oh! Look at that face he’s really angry now  🙂

My First Cross Stitch Projects for Him

I made this last 2009 for my boyfriend who happens to be the father of my son now.  This is actually the first project that I worked on. I bought this as a kit at a craft store. I enjoyed making this one. Just by looking at it now makes me smile. I learned how to stitch because of him? no way :). Well, I have to thank him for that.

I made this one for him on our 4th anniversary in the year 2012.

So glad to find the pattern still there…

We’ve been together for 6 years now and we just had a son. He’s a year old now. We’re not married yet but it’s okay with me. We just have so many things to figure out on our careers and we have to look after our baby. For me it’s not our priority for now. As long as we love each other and we respect each other, that’s the greatest thing that I could wish for and best of all he loves our son so much. They’re very close to each other. He even quitted his job and started to work as a freelance Architect just so he can help me in taking care of our baby. I also passed the board exam for Geodetic Engineers last September 2013 and I also work freelance. We both work at home to have quality time with our baby.

Happy Valentines Day Everyone!!!   I would be happy to hear your story too. Leave a comment below or you can send me an email at rhea@craftyguild.com.

I started off by making 3 circles and joined them together to form a heart.
I joined the to hearts by crocheting at the edges.
