Christmas i almost here and I am very excited to make Crocheted Christmas Ornaments and share the pattern with you guys. I am staying at home right now to take care of my 2 months old son. Whenever he’s asleep I can have the time to make a quick crochet Christmas stuff. I’ll be sharing free crochet patterns once a week from now on.
Materials Needed:
worsted weight yarn (blue and white) i used red heart with love yarns
pair of scissors
4.25 mm. crochet hook
yarn needle
Abbreviations:
Ch = Chain
SC = Single Crochet
HDC = Half Double Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
sl st = slip stitch
sts = stitches
Free Crochet Pattern:
Using the white yarn make a magic ring
Round 1: Ch 3(acts as a double crochet), DC 15 in the ring, sl st on the 3rd ch of the beginning ch 3 of the round
Change to blue yarn
Round 2-3: Ch 3(acts as a double crochet), DC in the next 15 sts, sl st on the 3rd ch of the beginning ch 3 of the round, fasten off
Change to white yarn
From the last stitch of the last round count 6 stitches backwards and continue crocheting
Round 4: Ch 1, SC, HDC, 6 DC, HDC, SC, sl st, turn
Round 5: Ch1, skip 1 stitch, sl st, SC, HDC, 4 DC, HDC, SC, sl st, turn
Round 6: Ch 1, skip 1 stitch, sl st, SC, HDC, 2 DC, HDC, SC, sl st, fasten off
Change to blue yarn
Round 7-8: Ch 3(acts as a double crochet), DC in the next 15 sts, sl st on the 3rd ch of the beginning ch 3 of the round
Change to white yarn
Round 9: Ch 3(acts as a double crochet), DC in the next 15 sts, sl st on the 3rd ch of the beginning ch 3 of the round
Change to blue yarn
Round 10: Ch 1, SC in same stitch, 7 SC, Ch 12, 8 SC, sl st on top of the 1st SC of the round
Fasten Off. Weave ends.
