Chain Sling Bag

Hi guys! I’m back…It’s been awhile since the last time I posted something here on my blog. I didn’t notice that It’s been a month. I’ve been very busy with my life lately and I couldn’t find time to crochet. I’m so glad to be back to share this chain sling bag that I recently made for my Mom on her birthday. If you think it’s adorable why not crochet one for your love ones.
Here’s the pattern:

Supplies Needed:

Worsted Weight Yarns
        (red and white)

5.5 mm crochet hook

1 m chain strap

Zipper

Tapestry Needle

Red Thread

Instructions:

Row 1: With red yarn, Chain 41, SC on the 2nd chain from hook, Continue to make SC until the last chain, turn

Row 2-23 : Chain 1, SC 40, turn

Row 24: Chain 1, SC 40, fasten off, weave ends

Fold the motif in half as shown above and work a single crochet on the sides using a white yarn.

Leave a 6 inch tail and sew the ends of the chain to your bag.

I thought of putting a Rose on the side of the bag and I made a video tutorial on how to crochet the rose. I hope you find it helpful.
